Russia attacked Odesa again yesterday with what was said to be an Iskander missile with a cluster munition warhead. The roof of this stunning building known as the Harry Potter castle was destroyed.
There is a particularly gripping photo from the attack on Odesa that shows a woman grieving over her dog that was killed while she was walking it. I won’t embed it because it is bloody, but you can see it here.
And life goes in Odesa.
Russia continues to slowly gain ground in several areas along the front.
Another 1,320 Russians off the battlefield.
“It’s more than fear, it’s horror.”
A Russian combat veteran tells those thinking of signing up to make big money in Ukraine that they would be foolish to do so, that their bravery will vanish when confronted with the reality of the war, when they see the “fuckton of corpses” at the front lines.
Orenburg is the city in Russia devastated by flooding.
The massive protests in Georgia continue.
Canada steps up.
Truly unbelievable.
The Bradley continues to prove its worth.
Ukraine captured this Russian BMP. The most interesting thing about it is how the drone cage completely encloses the vehicle, making it impossible to fire the gun.

A quick guide to the Russian-occupied sliver of land between Moldova and Ukraine known as Transnistria.
Let’s see how long it lasts this time.
This situation cannot be allowed to continue. There will be a tragedy before long.
This Russian estimates that half of all personnel losses are inflicted by drones.
Yesterday we discussed the share of losses from fpv drones with one volunteer corps officer. At least half of all 200-300 [dead and wounded] are drones. In some sectors of the front, in addition to fpv, drone bombers are a big problem. Very often attacks occur during rotation during entry/exit from a position.
Each unit is trying to solve this problem in its own way. Some successfully use sniper pairs, especially against agrodrones, others use shotguns or machine guns with thermal imagers. Jammers, especially compact ones, are very important.
However, they do not provide 100% protection. On one section of the front, the enemy flies on certain frequencies and the jammer works, on others the frequencies are not standard, and most of the jammers turn into bricks.
There is no single army solution to this problem. In such cases, it is necessary to give the initiative down so that each unit itself has the strength and means to fight enemy drones. For now, this is all happening privately through horizontal connections.
It seems to me that someone should already calculate the physical damage in people and rubles and show it to the head of state, so that this problem becomes a priority for everyone.
If the kamikaze drones don’t get them, cholera just might.

She’s one tough grandma.
She’s too young to understand, and that’s a good thing.
